Scott and his fiancée, Lauren, return back to his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina to announce his recent engagement. While in his hometown he runs into his high school girlfriend, Casey. The recent reunion with his ex-girlfriend sparks some conflict with the newly engaged couple. Sparks start to fly once again between Scott and Casey.

Scott and Casey are best-friends, they have been since they were in first grade. Casey has always been in love with Scott, but she never went for him because she didn't want to ruin the relationship. Scott, finally, gains feelings for Casey, but there is one problem, she has a boyfriend.

Austin and Isabelle broke up a day after graduation. The two were so head over heels for each other that they forgot about the major decisions such as where you go to college and whether to leave the one you love the most behind. Austin had to leave a week after graduation and he hated the way he left things with Isabelle. He hoped that putting his feelings in a letter would make her wait for him to come home. Sometimes things don't always go as written.
