I felt happiness when I was with them. I lost all hope when I left. I relied on my cold, sinful, and emotionless heart for support. I had no one else to turn to but the one I didn't trust the most: myself. I told myself it was better to be feared than hated. So I listened. The more that quote rung into my mind, I began to be more heartless. More... crazy. That harpoon struck into one of my greatest inventions snapped me back into reality. Oh, the cold, harsh reality I that strived to run away from. I betrayed my friends. I murdered a man. I destroyed a house filled with memories. All because I wanted to be feared. The amount of pain I felt physically as I fell to the ground didn't amount to the pain that scarred me from the inside. The physical pain felt so numb. All I could feel was that feeling of pain that I caused them. That nagging feeling that I needed to repay for my sins. That shot to the giant robot restarted my feelings; the feeling of pain. It hurt so much. I didn't know how to make it stop. So I tried to do some good in the world for once. I remade my army into a force of good. I just never expected it to lead it to the three people I prayed I would never see again. ... I had to put on a porcelain face so they can go. ____________ Yay, there's angst in this story. Although the Red Leader seems to want to win their land more than anything else. Nothing will get in his way. But! There is hope... The hope coming in a form of three men, friends in fact. They've been on so many crazy adventures and survived. They formed the Rebellion that helps England separately from the Government. They were so great that not even the Red Army could find their Main Base. Red Leader all the while starts thinking, more like remembering a certain Blue Hoodie wearing man. What if Tord's failure as a leader broke his men's trust. What if his right hand men held no mercy for him and never bothered to show up? Broken and on deaths doorstep, Tord remained on the hill. He'd lost it all. There was nothing left for him to say or do, he would die, and he accepted that. However this wasn't the case for Tom, the tired and wounded British man who took pride in his friends and their safety. Something in his system poked and nudged at him until he visited the crash sight that night, expecting to find nothing but rubble and stray wires.
