An LxLight Vampire AU story. The era of humans has ended and now is the time of the vampire. Vampire's have taken over the newly darkened Earth and humans are nothing but live stock and slaves, property of their vampire overlords. Light Yagami is a high class vampire, adoptive son of the vampire king Soichiro Yagami, prince of the vampire realm. L is a human slave, physically he isn't much compared to most slaves but his highly developed intelligence and indifference to the vampires strength and power made him too fascinating to use as mere live stock. When Light decides to buy his first slave he comes across the extraordinary human known by the slave drivers as L. Will Light's new purchase prove to be a good move on the Prince's half? Or will Light's darker side, which uses the title Kira, move to complicate things further?
