Dear Wattpad users, We are happy to announce the Hear Here Emerging Authors Contest, now open on Wattpad! Hear Here is an arts and culture organization based in Toronto, Canada. We host popular, salon-style events at popup locations around the city, collaborating with artists of a variety of mediums and designing dynamic spaces where we showcase their work to a diverse audience. However, the scope of our project is expanding in new directions! Hear Here has always been interested in fostering artists at all stages of their careers. Leading up to our sophomore event, we want to accept international submissions (in English) from the Wattpad usership. The top three submissions will be published on our website (www.hear-here.org), where they’ll be advertised to current and prospective Hear Here patrons. This also means they'll share a domain with our list of esteemed collaborators. If we have enough successful entries, a Hear Here journal in print won't be far off in the future (we'd contact you again before publishing anything elsewhere, of course). Read along for the contest rules, and good luck! —The Hear Here Team www.hear-here.org **CONTEST CLOSED. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE WATTPAD STAFF FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE, AND TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED. EXPECT RESULTS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON APRIL 2--THE DAY OF OUR NEXT EVENT.**
