The medical world has changed drastically; Doctors have made improvements to their medications and people have become healthier. Or at least that's what they want you to think. My world flipped upside down when my parents decided to ship me away from home. I understand the realistic expectations they want from me. I'm an adult now, and they want me to become more independent. Although; getting kidnapped and shipped to a remote island was not on that list of expectations for me. A secret facility hidden away for social experiments, falsely admitted patients; and secrets darker than I'd like to never have to remember. My world certainly has changed. For better or for worse? I'm not entirely sure. --- This story is being completely rewritten. I'll be removing chapters and re-uploading when I have the chance to. Thanks for reading <3

"He's staring at you," my sister whispered, wide-eyed. Now that I realised, I could feel someone's eyes burning the back of my head and as I turned around to see what my sister was talking about and my jaw immediately dropped whilst a cold shiver ran up my spine at the sight of the school's dangerous, certified bad boy. I shrugged nervously and turned around to face my sister. "Maybe he's just looking at what I'm wearing." The outfit was pretty cute, hands down. "But he never stares at anyone. He has only given them a cold stare that lasts for at least two-seconds." Oh hell no.
