Virgil Harris, a 17 year old edgy, emo, anxiety riddled boy was walking down a narrow alleyway when he heard a scream. He got away but not soon after he is caught by the most nutorious murderer in the world. He's rather attractive though...

[WARNING] This book contains Roman angst!! Do not read if you don't like that!! Roman has been distancing himself from the other sides since the last video and the rest of them are becoming a bit worried. Roman has been talking to the others less, he has been coming out of his room only to go to the imagination and when he comes back he just goes back to his room. His works have been lacking his usual enthusiasm and he has been eating much less. The other sides are starting to really worry about his mental and physical state. Patton is running out of ideas to get Roman to eat and Logan has completely give up with trying to reason with Roman threw a closed door. Janus has tried apologizing once but Roman refused to believe him. Virgil was the only one who was still able to come up with ideas, forcing the other sides to recreate these ideas in hopes that Roman would at least come out of his room but he never did. Virgil was running a bit short on ideas this time around but one stuck in the back of his head. He had a secret that he kept from the other sides. Much like how Patton can turn into a frog when under immense stress, Virgil can turn into a cat when in an immense state of panic. Although Virgil has learned to control this and can now turn into a cat at will. Keeping this in mind, Virgil knew his idea was most likely dumb and probably wouldn't work but he had to try. Anything to get closer to Roman. This might be the last idea that Virgil's got that mite actually have a chance of helping him out. He didn't want Roman to cut himself off like this any longer so this was better than nothing..... And remember that help is always available. Virgil has been happy all his life. He was joyful, bubbly, had friends, had loving parents (keywords: has, had, and was). His parents tragically got into a plane crash and so he got shipped off to Florida to live with his aunt, having to leave his friends, house, family, most of his belongings, and -what he didn't know yet- his joyful, happy attitude behind. He also had no clue his aunt was abusive, emotionally and physically and did drugs. His aunt drank all day and beat Virgil, drunk or sober. She would scream horrible things at him while beating, cutting, and/or whipping him. He was forced to live in his aunts dark dirty shed instead of her house. He had no bed and barely any food or water. She treated him as if he was her slave, making him cook and clean. When he was done with chores she would throw him back into the shed and beat him and yell him and not let him sleep or eat, " Bad boys don't get to eat," she would say, " you have to earn what you get" One day after she left the shed, cackling madly like a witch she forgot to lock the shed door. Virgil was weak, bruised, bloody, and starving but managed to escape. He ran. Ran for hours and hours and hours. People avoided him due to how skinny and vulnerable and beaten he was. Some jerks his age stopped to taunt and tease him about how pathetic he looked. Suddenly he bumped into a stranger who goes by the name of Roman. The moment Roman saw Virgil something inside him told him he needed to protect this boy. He took him in, frantically scrambling into his four bedroom house and over to his friends/room mates Patton and Logan, who were quite shocked to see him in this condition. As they gradually got to know him, helping him get better, Virgil grew close to them, especially Roman. But he always had that nagging thought in the back of his head, "Am I sure i can trust them? What if their going to hurt me like she did? Do they really like me?" After all, how could someone who was taught to fear learn to love?

Anxiety has always been a cast out. Everyside is born with a power. Roman has the ability to create small holographic creatures. Logan has Telepathy and can Read Minds. Patton has the power to bring plants and animals to life, to grow stuff. All of their powers made sense to their trait. Roman can create ideas so it makes sense for him to create holograms. Logan is very centered and smart so something to do with the mind makes sense. And Patton being the fatherly trait it's perfectly understandable for him to grow and raise life. But Virgil, his power doesn't make sense. Why would a paranoid, nervous, fearful, anxious trait have wings?
