Ending the war with Tsubaki was probably a good thing, giving the group to celebrate somewhat and to get to know each other without having to go out attacking his subclasses for obvious reasons. But then, something changes.

Mahiru and his Servamp Kuro were walking home from school one day when it began to rain unexpectedly. The two retreat to Mahiru's place soaking wet when they realize that there is no electrical power available in their home, nor anywhere in the entire town, and there wouldn't be for an entire week! During the outage, Mahiru realizes that perhaps his feelings for Kuro were more than he presumed them to be, and struggles in his attempt to accept his new feelings. Kuro might as well be on the same boat, developing new and uncertain feelings for Mahiru too. Will they both find they courage to submit to each other before the electricity cuts back on?

Mahiru has fallen asleep with Kuro unable to fall asleep. Kuro stares at him in his sleep wanting to touch him more

Mahiru leaves the apartment, leaving Kuro alone or who knows how long. When he comes back, he gets a surprise of his life!
