local rebel of 9 years, 17 year old Jewel Faith disobeys her uncle and goes out into the forest after dark. After a good 10 minutes of regretting coming outside with no jacket Jewel decides to go home, on account of not wanting to get caught because of a cold. On her walk home something catches her eye. So yada yada curiosity killed the cat and what not, she ventures over to the section where she saw the glint come from and found a feather. And low and behold, the feather is magic. When she picked the feather up it started to burn into her arm(the title has fire in it, someone has to get burned duh). And now she has magic powers and there's a weird voice in her head(totally not a cliché). Now join Jewel in her life or death jour-, oh did I not mention, ya there's a bounty for Jewels head.(again totally not a cliché) Sooo join Jewel on her life or death journey through valleys, mountains, and possibly other worlds? Who knows cause I don't.

I don't usually write too often, this is just an attempt to put down a bit of thought in a poetic form, as I sit here or there. Maybe it'll turn into something in time.
