As I've watched the 3 Descendants movies, I've sometimes wondered: What happened then? What happens in between these two events? I talked to a Descendants-loving friend of mine about it, and came across the thought of creating a book about it. So, that's what I'm doing! This book is full of potential scenes that I've written or co-written with other Descendants fans or writers. Scenes that would have jazzed up the story or give an extra few laughs or awes over. Some of these scenes, Disney would probably have never put in, but that's the beauty of fan-fiction, right? We can create what we want with the story! 11 years ago, the VKs disappeared on the Isle of the Lost. There was no trace as to where they went or who was keeping them captive. Many didn't even know if they were alive or not. Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos left behind Ben, Doug, Lonnie, and Jane to raise their kids on their own. Doug, Lonnie, and Jane seemed to pull through, but Ben seems to be a different story. Now, Madison "Maddie"-daughter of Mal and Ben, Levi-son of Jay and Lonnie, Daisy-daughter of Evie and Doug, and Christian-son of Carlos and Jane, are 16 years old. With Maddie's coronation coming up, everyone was beginning to freak out. Ever since Mal had disappeared, Ben has poured himself into his king's work. He hardly had time for his only child anymore. When they do have time together, he is completely stubborn and strict with her. Maddie wants that to change, so she takes her friends on a journey that will change their lives forever. Together, they will find out, that through thick and thin, Love Will Find a Way. The story picks up right after "One Kiss" from "Descendants 3" ends and Doug has woken up from the sleep spell. Will they actually admit that they love each other? What happens after the fact?
