If anyone could know how much trauma knocks you for six, it would undoubtedly be Haruka Nanase. After the death of his best friend's younger brother, he has had to hold Makoto Tachibana's hands and heart so that the olive haired teenager could stay afloat within the thrashing waves of grief, anxiety, panic, as well as the blackness that has enveloped itself around his mind, even when the waves crash into his lungs and he drowns in his own trembling world. Years have definitely passed, however his brain still latches onto those hurtful memories like sentimental photographs, the miniature version of himself echoing through his head with sobs as gut-wrenching as the bile that slithers up his throat every night. Haruka and Makoto are paediatricians; married paediatricians to be even more specific, and so far, the two haven't had to relive the tremendously scorching ordeal that had shattered the younger's everything. That is until an adorable, familiar, little pink-haired boy becomes their next patient...
