Wanda Maximoff, the youngest member of the new Avengers team, survived the battle against Ultron, the death of her twin brother, and the destruction of her native Sokovia. Now living in the Avengers facility with her comrades, she has a new home and a new family. Everything changed so quickly, and all Wanda has left of her old life is her grief, nightmares, and her powers. The same magic-like powers that changed her life forever, earned her a spot alongside the Avengers, and gave her an unbreakable link with the bearer of the Mind Stone: the Vision. With Finnick as her mentor, she starts to think that she could win, she starts to believe in herself, and she starts to hope again. What will happen to all of that when she turns down President Snows offer, and what will his 'lovely present' be , the one he shows right before the games?

Coral Adays is now back in her District, alone and afraid of everything that comes from the shadows. She twitches at a small sound of a door creaking, or the rain that splashes on top of the house. Her fears of being sent back into the arena where she killed so easily sends her into panic. She is haunted by nightmares, and flashbacks of the horror and blood shed. Finnick Odair tries frantically to get her to come out of her home, and Mags sometimes is allowed in to help her eat and bathe. Katniss is having her own troubles in her District, with the visit of President Snow, and the constant fear of her family dying sends her into alert mode. What happens when these two girls get reaped for the courter quill? Will they survive in the arena with their allies or enemy's, or will they be overpowered by their fears?
