Three years have have come and gone since (Y/n), AJ, and Clement made Ericson a home for themselves and their friends. Through trials and tribulations they've always managed to come out on top and push through. But what will happen when something completely unexpected arises that neither her or Clem saw coming? After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be (y/n)'s and Clement's chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice.

The world ends as the dead rises, a convicted murderer, Lee Everett, was on his way to jail when he gets into a car accident and escapes. He ends up taken care of an eight year old boy, Clement, who was left alone in his home as his parents are in Savannah. Eventually the two end up with a large group including an eight year old girl, (y/n), who is the daughter of Carley, the news reporter. Now the group have to work together to stay alive or be eaten by the living dead.
