This is part three of my Roommates series for Yutae. Please make sure you read Island Roommates first and Hotel Roommates next before you read this story. It will make more sense that way lol. Nakamoto Yuta and Lee Taeyong have been through quite a bit this past year, but it made them both stronger than ever. Now that they're together, it feels like nothing can stop them. Right?

Pain is all Alex has ever known. Taken from his people as a child, he was trained to be a hunter for the humans. The human has invested a small fortune in the hybrid and has big plans for the boy when Alex is approved to enter The Black City. But when an opportunity to escape The Tower presents itself, Alex takes it. Despite the dangers, he races off across the desert and begins his long journey home, where he hopes a family might be waiting for him.

Zale is a cry baby. He can't help it. He just gets so mad that the tears start flowing, which makes him even madder. It also doesn't help that the world is sinking. Unpredictably, the land shifts and entire cities can disappear under the water. Zale and his family thought they were safe, until the water started to rise. They raced to higher ground and lost everything in the process. With no money, they find themselves in a world congested with flood survivors. They can't find work or even an apartment. Steel, the local underground boss, has an offer for them that will end with Zale's mother and sister in a brothel. It'll mean money and housing, but Zale won't let it happen. He offers himself instead if the group takes care of his family. Steel agrees. Besides, he wanted Zale to begin with. On his first moon, Aden finds a white werewolf with red markings staring back at him in his reflection. He is definitely a sub but with a little extra fire. It's okay. Aden was expecting it. Titus, on the other hand, couldn't be happier. He takes Aden home where the pack is waiting. They are thrilled about the new addition. They instantly embrace Aden as one of them, and he starts adjusting to life as a werewolf. The rules of the pack are hard at first. Aden clings to some of his human tendencies and finds himself getting annoyed when ranking disputes cause problems among his packmates. His own marriage has a few bumps, but Titus and Aden work threw it together. Eventually, Aden comes to understand the rules of the pack are there to protect him. A sub with beautiful white fur is bound to attract attention from dominants looking for that perfect sub. Because in this world, even the strongest werewolves' mates are at risk of being stolen.

Aden's ready to barricade himself in his room, until school starts back up in the fall. His mother won't allow it, and his father is ready to do some character building. They drag him out and drive him to Beaver Lake. His father loads him with a bucket and a mop and sends him off to clean campground toilets. The local campers just laugh at the poor garbage boy wandered around picking up after them. All but one. One very strange, shirtless, barefoot boy who Aden will never understand. But the boy makes it bearable, so he'll let him stick around. It's not like Titus is really going to give Aden a choice anyways.
