Sometimes when you're an information broker, you have to be ready to be anyone to get the information you're after. This is only more so when you're going after the top dogs of corrupt companies, government officials, and the underworld crime elites. Things can get complicated working with and against mafias, drug cartels, hitmen, and many other dangerous criminals. Many people in this position would have multiple identities they'd be ready to switch between. However, even with that, most can't do it the way they do. They can shift into multiple identities with zero issues, having starkly different appearances that you'd never guess who they could become next. Often underestimated for their lack of other abilities, for "just being a shapeshifter", people don't realize how powerful someone, who can be anyone, really is. This is exactly who Skye is - a shapeshifter. Although, to be more specific, a half-shapeshifter. While they may not be able to transform into anyone at will, their ability to have a select few appearances that they can change into is just as useful. It doesn't hurt to have some of the most dangerous people in the country wrapped around their fingers either. Not everyone can be controlled via information, however. There are some that seem to be a vault, seeming to be impossible to find anything about them in order to control them. There are some that Skye will never be able to be in control of, and those are the same ones that terrify them. What happens when they find themself between a rock and one of the most feared criminals? TRIGGER WARNINGS: Addictions (e.g. drugs, sex, alcohol, smoking), violence, gore, kidnapping, and death. Mentions of child abuse, and sexual assault. I will put a trigger warning at the beginning of the chapter so you know to skip it if you'd like to continue reading this story. Side Note: Please keep in mind that this is an 18+ story. This will cover explicit scenes of violence and sexual themes.
