In a world where people with magic live hidden away in a forest, 15-year-old Destan must save his tribe from a war with the non-magical people, after accidentally having started it himself in the first place. --- The world has split in two; magicals living in packs, or tribes, doing what they can to survive. Non-magicals, or Inops, in complete ignorance of their powerful counterparts. Destan doesn't fit in with either society. Though his younger sister Julia lives with the Inops and does not have any powers, Destan can bend the atoms of any object to his will. His tribe, however, has made him an outcast for a horrible mistake he made when he was just a little boy. Lonely and desperate, Destan makes another mistake a decade later. By showing himself to Julia and her adoptive family of Inops, he makes himself a target - and by doing so, he makes his tribe a target. The costs pile up higher and higher as the quarrel between the two sides turns into a full-blown war. Can Destan make up for what he's done, before both factions turn on him? Can one encounter change everything? Adisa is a proud, rising captain in the Knights guild. He's extremely smart, perceptive, strategic, powerful--and a braggart. He's absurdly great at his job. His excessive bragging can either be highly amusing or annoying, the latter of which is prevalent among the conservative nobles who unfortunately dominate the knights. Coupled with the fact that he's a commoner, he should happily retire as one of the Knight Commanders for a small town. As if. One day he heard some goons trying to harass a meek woman. He tries to save her, but the goons turn out to be more than he can handle. Almost at the death's door, he's saved by the very woman he was trying to protect. Not only the timidness was an act, she also turns out to be an extremely intelligent and powerful person. Attracted by each other's peculiarities, they quickly become interested in each other. Scoffed by some as the pair going against social classes, they stand resolute. With the gears of fate starting to move, it's unknown what will the result be. Join them on their adventure of battling against this game and fight against destiny in which stakes include not only their relationship, but will also slowly include the future of the world. The friends will become enemies; enemies will turn out to be useful. And extremely powerful, smart and ruthless people stand in their way. It'll require every ounce of their wisdom--which they are both widely known as geniuses for--to even have a minute chance. Will their end be tragic or a heroic victory? Only time will tell.

When a total stranger knows what eats you, maybe they are your one true love. Even if you don't know it yet. || On Friday the 13th, two twenty-something, Daya and Mike, end up in a mutually beneficial arrangement: she is his caregiver after he breaks his foot; he provides room&board to help her out with a teeny-tiny cash flow problem. Not a whiff of a romance, strictly business. And for a while, all is good... for about five minutes, that is. What can an overweight man, a video game obsessed librarian, know about her quitting a challenging sport of figure skating, Daya scoffs. He needs to get off her case and sort out his binge eating! What does a celery-chewing skating diva care about his failure as a PhD candidate, Mike wonders. She is just replacing her dreams with his non-existing problems instead of pursuing her one true passion! With the two already teetering on the brink of mutually assured destruction, oil splashes onto the flames when Daya resumes her never-ending quest for skating triumph at Canadian Nationals. (Well, that should make Mike happy, right? Right?) But isn't there *something* worth fighting for *together*? Like, you know, love? COMPLETED. Four kingdoms. One Shade. One bastard prince. And one stupid crown. *~~~* Naomi Stone: Ambitious, cunning, easily excited, and prone to errors. This Shade has a plan to become the first powerful one to ever exist in Gregon's Land, but the only way to see it through is if she could convince a certain bastard that he needs her more than she needs him. Judah Locke: Clever, somewhat charming, easily agitated, and harbours a soft spot for food. This half-Shade/bastard prince would do anything to not return to his previous life as a miserable Shade. But when a certain adorable and eager female beats herself up to try and sway him to follow her on a ridiculous journey, he can't help but humour her. The adventure that these two embark on is one filled with all sorts of wild dangers; from pestering goblins to soul-sucking sorceresses. But one fact is assured, these nitwits might probably start a war. *~~~* Highest Rank: #256 in Humor *~~~* Awesome cover by @byefromhell ~* Copyright © 2019. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

At the heart of Amberguarde lies Stormvein Institute, a fortress where heirs of noble houses, warlocks, paladins, and summoners are trained to master the three great forces-Solar, Lunar, and Astral. But beneath its towering halls of living stone, rivalry runs deeper than magic. Macey Rinaria, the so-called Mad Mage, bears lunar power too volatile to control. Haunted by whispers and a past drowned in fire, she knows one misstep could shatter more than her reputation. Connor Heslington, son of a knightly dynasty, carries the weight of his family's Astral legacy. His oath is to order, not chaos-and certainly not to mages like Macey. When their clash in the lecture hall spirals into a duel that awakens forbidden powers, the two are forced onto a collision course that could tear apart the fragile peace between their houses. Fog conceals secrets. Glyphs hum with warning. And as ancient forces stir-Hinara, Ceao, and Gilgamesh-the truth becomes clear: Stormvein is not a sanctuary. It is a battleground. Magic is rivalry. Rivalry is survival. Began: 7.02.2019 Completed: 21.04.2020 Rewrite: 15.09.2025
