Blade should not exist. When a glitch in a Kaminoan growth pod resulted in the birth of a female clone, the infant was smuggled out of the facility before her creators could cover up their "mistake." Codenamed Blade, raised and trained in secret by an unorthodox Stealth Ops unit, the girl is eventually forced out of hiding when her sergeant is given a mission that can't be completed without her. Her existence and skill quickly become known throughout the Clone Army and the Republic Senate, leading to her appointment as an assassin by Chancellor Palpatine.
