She was then cursed with powers that couldn't be controlled without proper training. The newly positioned king, brother of the late King Alfor, doesn't like Pidge's power and believes she could be a candidate to join Voltron, a group made by his brother with power unmatched even by the king. In fear, he takes in the child who just lost her brother and father. In the castle she meets two souls who change her.

Katie had a good life. She had a mother and father, and especially a twin brother. Although she loved her parents, she had always had this inseparable bond with her brother. They were like Yin and Yang. They complimented each other. He was someone she always wanted to be best friends with. So, for the first eight years of her life, it was nothing but happiness, or at least of what she can remember. That is until he came. Takashi Shirogane. He became best friends with Katie's twin brother, and at first she didn't care, but when Matt started to spend some more time with Takashi, she realized she had to share her brother. Also, I know it says book two, but if you don't/haven't read the first book, "Like a Grape" you will be fine. You just won't understand the ??? chapters completely.**

One year and the Galra Empire still stands, but barely control a third of the universe now thanks to Voltron. Pidge has a small problem, scratch that. A HUGE problem... One early morning Pidge was already in the lion hanger trying to figure out how her lion was powered and if she could upgrade it when she triggered it's defence system, blasting the little paladin with some of its quintessence knocking her out cold. A few minutes later she woke up with a massive headache. She groaned and glimpsed her reflection in her lion's plating, something was different about her appearance. Pidge frantically looked for a mirror and found one next to her laptop. She gasped, she was going to have a hard time explaining this...

The dark room surrounded Pidge. It didn't take her long to realise what had happened, the galra had her. -- Pidge is my favourite character and this idea kept coming to mind. It's kinda uncreative but I like the plot. Warning: Torture, insanity, swearing, angst I don't own Voltron nor the art
