Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! It does not include ANY of TLJ or TROS canon, please be aware of this as you read. Also I wrote this like 3 or 4 years ago, excuse my grammar mistakes. Yes, I know they're there. Our story place about two weeks after the events of The Last Jedi. Rey is helping the resistance rebuild after the battle on Crait, but she's confused by her feelings for Ben Solo, who assumed leadership of the First Order. Worked on this a lot, so tell me what you think. :) Enjoy!!!!

Kylo Ren is tired of being bossed around by Hux, and is always looking for a way to prove himself. Finally going to far in his efforts to prove himself, Kylo lands himself in a difficult situation... Rey is also in a remote place training. She is with Luke, her new master. All is well with her, except for the fact she keeps having strange dreams. A new difficult mission will challenge her like never before...

If there was one thing Rey couldn't do, it was turn her back on her friends when they needed her, even if that meant sacrificing her own freedom. Most would call such compassion a selfless strength, while others would see it as a foolish weakness. Unfortunately for her, Kylo Ren considers it an opportunity to be exploited. Post-TLJ.
