Before there was light and dark, there was a void free from all forms of existence. There was only Cyhphion, a goddess of unknown origin, even she can't remember where she came from. During her reign, she found a form of peace within the isolation, but soon she felt secluded and created a god to coexist with her, Polemos the god of war. For many millennia, the two deities created a world to rule. This world is known as Yaginem, a world beautiful in every way through their eyes. They created gods and goddesses to control certain parts of Yaginem and created life of different races to worship them. For centuries, the races worshipped the gods and those who refused were given unimaginable punishments. The gods loved the harmony and the life that they judged on Yaginem, but Polemos believed that they could do much more. He believed that something was preventing their full potential and assumed that Cyhphion was limiting their power to remain dominant over the gods. With this belief, he convinced most of the gods to revolt against her. The gods that stood with Polemos were known as the Forsaken and the gods that stood with Cyhphion were known as the Righteous. For three centuries, the war between the two divine factions occurred, wreaking endless havoc on Yaginem in the process. Many gods fell during this gruesome fight among the heavens, by the end of the war, the Forsaken were victorious. With weakened numbers, the Righteous were forced to flee into Yaginem and hide, but the Righteous were not defeated. Cyhphion fled with what's left of the Righteous and prepared a plan, the Righteous were weak after three-hundred years of fighting but so was the Forsaken. Cyhphion knew they won't be able to defend Yaginem by themselves again, but its people can. Cyhphion dispersed the Righteous gods to all parts of Yaginem in hopes that they can prepare for the upcoming fight. Each god had to protect and help unite the races of Yaginem.
