Issei Hyoudou decided that a way for him to get chicks easily is to become fit. To do that, he decided to browse the internet for videos on proper workout methods and stumbled upon a guide called the Herculean Methods. Imagine the world of hurt the young degenerate soon finds himself in.

In Kuoh Academy, there exists a new student, a recent transfer to Kuoh Academy starting in his second year. He is an average student with caramel brown hair and golden eyes, flying under the radar and doing what he can to live a simple, peaceful life. The two Peerages that run the school behind the scenes have a new concern, an unknown entity chasing a boy who just wants to be left alone. The board has been shifted and an unknown player has set the table. Along with troubles rumbling throughout the Human world, there are rumblings of something troubling in the Supernatural World as well. The Red Dragon Emperor has returned. A note: This is a Highschool DxD Fanfiction with influence from COTE, I'm currently rewatching DXD for the first time in a long time, so information may be wrong or skewed. This fanfiction will closely follow the plot of the Original Highschool DXD, following the canon chain of events (With chapter 1 being Episode 1 of Highschool DXD), however with some obvious changes. I will do my best to keep it together and avoid plot holes and issues. All criticism and advice is welcome. This is my first fanfiction, so understand it might not be the best. Issei Hyoudou the pawn of Rias Gremory a teenage devil who Sacrificed his forearm to save his master and later defeated the Cadre class fallen angel Kokabiel essentially single handedly but what happens when his Sacrifice is worse than he thought

Issei is asked by Rias about what she is to him. When she doesn't receive the desired response, she becomes angry and confronts him, along with their group of friends. Even his childhood friend joins in, making Issei feel hurt and betrayed. Their hurtful words push Issei to his breaking point. He decides to leave everyone permanently, removing his pawn pieces and declaring that they will never see him again. Issei then teleports to an unknown location. Little does he know, this is not the end but the beginning of a new and exciting adventure. From being known as the 'hero of the underworld and being a devil,' Issei now has the potential to become a hero for all and the leader of The Yokai. ***Disclaimer I do not own High school DXD or any of the characters that are mentioned in the story and all credits go to the author of High School DxD.***

After Issei defeated Trihexa and saved both the supernatural and human worlds, Issei was looking forward to finally being able to rest and enjoy the peace he had fought so hard for, and spend time with the women in his harem. But unfortunately, fate had a different plan for the hero of the factions. Issei started to notice how the girls in his harem ignored him and treated him horribly. The same thing happened with the faction leaders; they also ignored him and even became aggressive towards him. Issei was very confused as to why everyone was treating him so poorly after he had fought so hard for them. Ddraig also wondered why everyone was treating his partner so poorly after all he had done for them. That was until Ophis and Great Red decided to tell Issei and Ddraig what was happening and why those who he thought were friends and even family were treating him like this. After Ophis and Great Red revealed the truth to both Issei and Ddraig, Issei learned the truth of what was going on and how they truly thought of him. It made him angry that he had been used and played for a fool once again. But even more so, he was saddened that they never saw him as anything more than a weapon or a tool that they could throw away. Ddraig was furious at what they thought of his partner, even after everything he had done for them. It was at that moment when both Issei and Ddraig decided to leave the world of the supernatural and the human world, never to return. Now, after 20 years, the factions once again need their hero to save them. But unknown to them, their former hero will not come to rescue them from disaster, like he has done before.
