Everyone in Konoha knows Naruto. The dead-last, the idiot, the prankster, happy-go-lucky, a dumb blond with a hopeless crush on Haruno Sakura. What about Sakura? A hopeless fangirl of Sasuke's who cannot fight to save her life, with loving parents who care for her. Sasuke? An emo avenger who does nothing but brood over the end of his clan, power-hungry and willing to do anything within his power to kill Itachi. The list goes on. However, not everything is as it seems. Every person, be it consciously or unconsciously, has a mask that hides their true selves. Their lives are not nearly as happy as they seem. Naruto ran away from another mob that fateful day. It was raining and cold and the Uzumaki's clothes were soaked. Looking for a place to warm up, the blonde stumbles across this large rock hidden at the Hokage Monument. Who knew that, hidden inside the monument, there was the one person who would care about him like no one ever had before. He who took care of the Uzumaki, who only wanted to be loved like everyone else.
