But, only sort of. He became an angel, sent to make sure his Hometown, Columbus, Ohio, was peaceful and tranquil. But he didn't realize how much his death would impact everyone. His best friend Josh Dun, refuses to accept it, losing his sanity and his will to live when his best friend leaves him.
