Keep in mind this was written in like, 2017 or 2018, so there's a lot of things in here that are here simply because of the year that it was written. All the nicknames, phrases, couples, plots, etc. are all the way they are because that's what was popular at the time and I wrote this at 14. Now at 18, I check up on this occasionally just to see how it's doing, and I've noticed a lot of comments about these little things, so I thought I would add this note. I'm glad that people are still enjoying my work, even though this one is definitely shitty compared to my more recent works on AO3, but just keep in mind this is about five years old and is therefore going to be out of date with some fandom things. John has been in prison for 2 years, 2 years off a life sentence for killing a man who ruined his life. Classy. He is stuck with his best friends Herc and laf, partners in crime, serial killers. He was liked in his prison. People wouldn't mess with his crew as they have all done questionable things in their pasts.

*Completed History professor, John Laurens is teaching his first year since being transfered from South Carolina. "King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that. Alexander Hamilton comes from a smaller town in Jersey. He's used to the big city, but finds living on his own for the first time is proving easier said than done. Keeping up on school has never really been a problem for him, but distractions such as a complicated relation with a professor and a life that just can't seem to give him a break makes it a little harder than he had initially intended.

Alexander is incredibly intelligent. And incredibly twisted. No one has been able to save him yet, and everyone is hoping that John will be the exception. Another amazing cover by @angst-and-art. Thanks!
