"Am I the last of my kind, or not?" L is an orphan, she has no family to speak of, no real name and no idea who she really is. She has run away from foster homes her entire life, never letting anyone get too close. She likes to be alone, hates most people and has a habit of getting into trouble. When terrifying creatures corner her in a cemetery, L is saved by a mysterious beanie-hat-wearing stranger. One who reveals that her one and only friend has been abducted, that her life is in danger and he's her only hope. The stranger leads her into a new world of mystery and wonders. A world that needs her. A world she was always meant to be a part of. A world at war. With a bit of magic, a few new and unusual friends and a tendency to get into trouble, will L be able to defeat the evil that's threatening to ruin the new life she has found?
