I heard singing coming from my left. My eyes followed the noise, and I was surprised by the bright light that greeted me. A man in white held out his hand towards me. "It's your time," he told me. I glanced back at Daniel, tears streaming down his face. "No," he cried. "Sarah, you can't leave me! I need you!" His voice lowered until it was barely above a whisper. "I love you. Don't go." I turned back to the light. "The time has come," the man told me, "But it's also your choice." I wanted nothing more than to join him. My feet began to carry me towards the light. Just before I stepped into it, I looked back. I saw Daniel crying at my bedside, mourning my death. As soon as I saw that, I knew what I had to do. I couldn't leave him. And then I realized it; I loved him, too. I walked back and sat down in the bed. The man smiled and nodded his head slightly. "Are you sure," he asked.
