A lighthearted peak into the Caribbean island's past and surviving legacies

Evie was the young mistress of a countryside farm but after she got caught in the rain she fell fast to the flu, leaving an abusive husband behind. Evie roams the farm at night and sometimes can be heard whispering in your ear and when Samantha moves in after marrying Mr George Smith, she realises just who the red haired woman is and why she is so intent on revenge. Set in the 1790's to early 19th century. (I took inspiration from hearing Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush and also the story by Emily Bronte. I did not use any of their stories though. I got the portrait/painting of off Google but edited it with Photoshop myself. Their clothes, manners, methods of transport, money and even some words they used can be unfamiliar to us today. I hope this book will grow into a helpful source of reference for any reader who is exploring the classic authors, like Jane Austen and Maria Edgeworth, or enjoying the wide range of early 19th century set historical stories found here at Wattpad.

Here's just a quick story I wanted to write based on Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame 1996 version. What if Frollo had not fallen to his death in the end of the movie? What if the gypsies had managed to fight of the guards and capture Frollo after the battle? How would they have acted and what would they have done to him? This story is just a one-shot but I hope you enjoy it.
