Rey, a 15 year old girl lives in what used to be Arizona. The United Republic has taken over all of the USA and has shut down every other country's power for an unknown amount of time, leaving them in complete darkness. Rey has to fear for her life every day, as hispanics such as herself are often targeted and killed for little or no reason by the racist and unforgiving government.
