However, when Poppy comes out and tells the village about her relationship with Branch, everyone is against her because he was always mean to her. But she ignores it and so does Branch. But everywhere Poppy went, everyone would always criticise her for dating Branch... Except her dad and her closest friends. But the pressure gets to her and she breaks up with Branch. Branch, heartbroken, isolates himself from everyone in the village, somehow not going grey. Poppy is also heartbroken, seeks advice from Bridget and realises she should listen to her heart. Can Poppy and Branch mend their relationship? Or will they both die alone and sad? Read Below To Find Out.

After they showed the Bergens how to be happy, Poppy and Branch begin a new chapter in their lives. From beginning their relationship to watching their daughter grow up, it's a rocky road, but they'll find a way to pull through.

This is an AU. It takes place a year or two before the events of the film. Poppy immediately knew something was wrong with her, there was no doubt. But when she finds out what it is, she tries to hide it from her friends and family. Poppy knew they would accept it, in fact, they would be happy for her, but she didn't want Branch, her oldest friend but a reclusive hermit, to find out. But she ​knew he would have to know the truth eventually. After all, he was the father.

Poppy decides to throw Branch the biggest, the loudest, the craziest party ever. But he refuses to come, claiming that the Bergens will find them. Poppy ignores him, and throws it anyway. She was sure he'd come, who wouldn't come to their own birthday party? Branch. Little did she know, Branch's prediction was all too accurate.....
