I paused mid-sip, lowering my cup as I looked at him-silent, but completely focused. He had my full attention. "When you weren't there," he began, his voice barely above a whisper, "it felt like the pod all over again. You were my oxygen... but, I couldn't reach you. And it was killing me." His words hit hard, and I felt my eyes begin to sting. I always knew my feelings for Fitz were strong... but I hadn't realized how deep his were too. Author's Note: Hey everyone! I started writing this story a few weeks after the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 finale. I kept thinking, Where could Jemma have gone? That one question sparked the entire idea. Eventually, I was drawn to one of the most iconic cities in the Marvel universe as the setting. I later realized others had similar theories or storylines-but just to be clear, everything I write comes from my own ideas and imagination. I don't copy or take from anyone else. He can sense the "rips" scattered throughout each dimension and use them to peel through to the next world. Em and his group of survivors peel through world after world, battling glowdarks, zombies, and even gods in their quest to find a safe haven in a post-apocalyptic multiverse. Now add a group of crazy mask-wearing, weapon-wielding, maniacs to the ever growing list of reasons why Gemma hated riding the subway. Gemma Conners is your average eighteen year old and for the past two years she's been riding the subway to and from school with no problem. She always expected the same ol' same ol'. However, there was a significant difference between the two, unlike Hermione, Quinton didn't possess magic. He was a muggle. Arthur Weasley has always been fascinated by muggles and their lifestyle, so when he meets Quinton one year as the older brother drops Hermione off at King's Cross, the two strike up a conversation about the function of a rubber duck. The two became fast friends and Quinton becomes a regular at the Burrow whenever his sister is invited over. Ginny is trying to come to terms with her feelings over the Boy-Who-Lived, who doesn't pay her any sort of mind outside of being Ron's little sister. Hermione gives her the advice not to pine over Harry, that she should look at other boys, although when Hermione suggested it, she wasn't exactly suggesting her older brother. It started off as letters between the two while Ginny is at school and becomes something each time the two see each other again.
