As Frieza's and Goku's bond grows stronger after fighting together in the ToP. Frieza learns to realize the feelings for the Saiyan he had buried deep within him. But there's no absolute way the emperor would let Goku discover how he feels, unless the Saiyan finds out for himself.

Frieza's return to his once powerful army was less than accepted. Warriors of legend, strong as Jiren the Gray that appeared once a millennium and disappeared as soon as they came. With the legendary emperor defeated, his army fled, and Frieza was left weakened in his final form to the point where his first form on Namek could have beaten him easily. With no allies, he was left one place to go... Earth. Would he find solace in his sworn enemy, or will their differences cost Frieza his life once more?
