Only 1% of the world is like me. Even less than that. All of us possess some form of power. Me? Anything I think can be turned real. If I can think it, I can do it. So you may ask, well what does that 1% have that gives them the powers? We all have violet eyes. Or, that's what they look like. Nobody can really prove it but who knows. It might be true. But we are hunted because we are feared. Because people are jealous. Because they are normal. I am part of that 1%. And I am proud. I would do anything to keep my powers-to stop the hunters and tracers-to keep the world that we live in safe.

Arctic Deeps unfolds in the forbidding waters near the White Sea, where the USS Obama-fresh from an intensive refit in Bangor, Maine-is ordered on a rapid deployment to the Arctic Pole. The mission is supposed to be routine, a quiet return to patrol after the chaos of the Mediterranean. But peace never lasts long for NCIS Agent Jennifer Hobbs. Having recently dismantled yet another terrorist plot abroad, Hobbs boards the Obama expecting a brief respite. Instead, she is thrust into her most perilous assignment yet: intelligence suggests that a rogue nuclear strike may be imminent, and all evidence points to forces far more sophisticated-and far closer to home-than anyone expected. When the Americans detect a nearly undetectable Russian submarine lurking beneath the ice, tensions explode. The vessel is rumored to be the Kremlin's latest and most advanced creation, engineered for absolute silence and built to slip through Arctic waters like a ghost. Its presence raises a terrifying question: is Russia preparing for a clandestine first strike, or has another power seized control of their newest weapon? With the world perched on the edge of nuclear catastrophe, Hobbs must navigate the treacherous interplay of covert operations, political misdirection, and a frigid ocean where one mistake could set off a global chain reaction. Cut off from backup and trapped in a theatre where a single torpedo could rewrite history, she races to uncover the truth before the ice shatters-and the world along with it. Can Jennifer Hobbs stop the most silent submarine ever built from triggering a nuclear nightmare? Or will the Arctic claim not just her mission, but the fragile peace she's sworn to protect?
