With all odds stacked against them, Akira and her dragon must fight for their own lives as well as try to fulfill all expectations and free the Lands from a tyrant's rule once and for all.

My school's doing a writing contest called Young Authors. Basically this is what I'm writing for it. (story went to district competition) under editing

Ivy. A first glance she's nothing more than an oblivious girl with idiotic ideas and a bad habit of being a trouble magnet. to an untrained eye she's just a girl, a stupid one, but to people who can see between the lines, she's more than that. so take a closer look maybe you'll see through her mask, but I doubt that, she's a good actor. Raised by her grandfather and left a huge fortune that was stolen away by her parents she finds her self reading a letter from her grandfather, he's left her a house in secrete. Only problem is, on the map it's in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a vast forest, but with no where else to go she goes in search of the house, where she encounters a chance meeting with a wolf and she's pointing a gun at him. It seems Ivy has a few tricks up her sleeves.
