In the beginning, there was Nothing. And then a rush of creation ending with the world itself, full of Wonder. But all would not be well for long as tragedy strikes the Heavens, leading to the shattering of its gardens, and the creation of what mortals calls Night and Day. A prequel to 'Light From Above' this is my NaNoWriMo project for 2017. For now it is rough, though I will try to keep Grammar and spelling errors to a minimum.

#10 in Humor 15/05/17 #29 in Teen Fiction 02/11/16 DISCLAIMER: I wrote this story when I was thirteen, so I'm sure that there are A TON of mistakes and plot holes. Reader's discretion is advisable. ❝Even through the cloudy nights of gloom and gray, it is a star's light that brings out a new Day❞ When a girl starts off a new school for the first time in her life, she obviously expects it to be far from sunshine and happiness. Especially if she's joined in the middle of the school year and used to be able to get up whenever she wanted, had her very own governess and lived out in the boonies. Not Day Winters. Meet the girl who defies logic of every kind, as she faces the real world for what it is despite holding a huge secret- that she is an online blogger with more than half of the world's population in love with her. This population however, isn't in love with Day, but her online form Starlight24. In an endless roller coaster of love, secrets, fights and friendship, Day is forced to accept the fact that even a Star's light will eventually burn out, and that even her own flame may flicker out into an overrated Daydream. ✨✨✨ © 2015 All rights reserved. Carly Atwood always remembered the man that used to live in the loft above the barn when she was a little girl. John was her childhood crush, he was the guy she wrote about in her diary, and when he left her in his army greens, he was the first man she ever cried for. Nine years later, Carly isn't the eleven year-old girl John left behind. She grew up and moved on with her life, taking over the Atwood Ranch following her father's death. John isn't the man he used to be either; physically and emotionally scarred following his last deployment in Afghanistan, John is returning to the only place he ever called home, back to the loft above the barn and to the pretty blonde girl that's been holding onto his dog tags for all these years. ----- Title inspired by the song of the same name by Tim McGraw.

The Wattys 2014 "Undiscovered Gem" Stella Henry is afraid of a lot of things. As a child, her simple, comfortable home life did not prepare her for the sort of people whom she would meet as a younger teenager. Now eighteen and a freshman at Clemson University, Stella meets Charlie, who, like her, has long been keeping others at bay. Though his disposition is kind and gentle, Charlie is a boxer, and his world only reminds Stella of elements of her past she would like to forget. When both realize that they have a safe place in one another, they start to overcome their fear of other people, and of letting them get close enough to matter. In many ways, this is a story about allowing people to matter to our lives, and about meaning something to them, in turn. At some point in your day, in your routine, in your life, you will matter to someone. That is a special kind of power, do be careful with it. "We love people not so much for the good they've done us, as for the good we've done them." Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace
