Lillia Leroux and Drayce Shalddwell find their destinys and fates unexpectedly intertwined when they're forced into a political marriage. Drayce is to become King, however he has secrets that he knows could get him executed if anyone knew. Lillia, who is considered a curse and a killer by all who meet her, just wants to be loved. The Convergance was almost upon them. They didn't have much time. "Drayce!" Someone called to him. He turned around and saw Lillia hurrying over to him, her red hair glinting in the darkness. "What is it, Lilly? You should be in the castle." Drayce said. "I know, but I needed to bring something to you." She said setting a sword in his hands. A sword he was all too familiar with. The Sword of Amasar. He sighed in frustration. "This is nothing but a normal sword, Lillia. It's not going to help us." "It will. I just have a feeling Drayce. This sword will make or break our success." Lillia said earnestly. "Trust me. You can do this." He took her hand in his. "No, we can. An original story/poem in which a sarcastic, no-nonsense and no-frills merchant meets a prince. Yes, it's short. That means you can read it in 2 minutes! Yes, it's a poem. Get over it. And although the genre is poetry, I'd also put it under humor. I hope. The cover only kinda fits...imagine more of a muddy road winding around a snowy mountain.

This is a short poem. It started with a story starter: "It was the road to nowhere" and became an actual poem because I was feeling inspired that day. It might be just a little depressing, and it may or may not turn into a story one day. Maybe.
