The future held much promise when looked at from the past, but all those dreams have turned to nightmares. Kios is the only one of her kind of robots, created in secret for her own protection. The man who she calls father is a runaway designer of her predecessors, and wants her nowhere near the facility. Pushing her onward, she meets Rick, a charming yet slightly agitating...friend?
