you are born and then you die. but it's the things in between that they don't tell you about. it's the monsters and the demons they don't arm you against. the people with their smiles and careful words who turn out to be the ones with the sharpest knives. the shadows in your mind that manifest into your deepest, darkest fears. the in between is where you want to flatline, but you are given a reason not to.
