When Harry Potter's name emerged from the Goblet of Fire, the world turned against him. His friends abandoned him, his classmates mocked him, and even the staff stood by as he was bullied and cast out. Gryffindor, the house he had once called home, went so far as to hurt him and finally banish him. His own Head of House did nothing. Limping and broken, Harry retreated to the Chamber of Secrets, where he wept for the betrayal and cruelty he had endured. But in the depths of despair, something inside him snapped.
