Almost a year ago, Holly Underworld Styx underworld had the chance to pull off the heist of the century and steal Fairy godmothers magic wand. Now a year later the VK's have settled into life pretty well with their new friends in Auradon. Evie opened a tailoring business; Jay was busy with fencing and tourney working to get a scholarship to Sherwood university next year, Carlos was working at a shelter and trying to work up the courage to ask out their friend Jane, Hadie had just started high school, Hayden had been appointed royal advisor and was very busy, and Holly and Ben, well they were trying to fix up the isle and run Auradon already acting like a king and Queen even if Holly didn't have the title yet. All were settled in except Mal she doesn't know how to lead nor how to deal with all the meetings and events that Ben and Hayden ask her to attend. Now she finds out that her being with Hayden means her entire life has been planned out for her. She can't take it anymore and leaves. The Daughter of Hades, she is ruthless, dangerous and mean, just like you would assume. She's terrifying with her ever-burning hair and glare that could crack even the most despicable of villains. She basically rules the Isle; she was the daughter of a god after all. She and Mal grew up side by side, usually playing cards while Maleficent and Hades screamed at one another and tried to end each other. Unlike most VK's Holly and Hades got along, Hades actually loves his children. Holly never had to do anything she didn't want to do, and he never pushed her. Her and her friends grew up opposites, but they never had an animosity of her for that. When she, her brother and four other Vk's get the chance to move to Auradon she gets the chance to pull off the heist of the century and free her father, but a pair of kind blue eyes are watching her, and they might even reveal the heart she thought was destroyed long ago. When prince Ben arrives to the Isle of the Lost, Evie, Jay, and Carlos will do anything to escape. Especially after Mal reveals why she disappeared for over a month.

There have been many stories where maleficent has been portrayed as a terrible mother in the descendants universe and I wanted to write a book showcasing her love for Mal. As most of you may know this is the only book I have where maleficient is a good mom!!! Disclaimer: I do not own Descendants Disney does I just own the plot.

Some people came off the island and came to Auradon. And some of them came off the island, but then brought the Isle with them. When Mal starts to slide back into her Isle Mindset, Ben calls Hades to take her out. A little bit of ice cream and a lot of panicking later, he starts to get to the bottom of it. AKA Hades and Mal family feels.

Ben is only seven when he is diagnosed with meningitis. By the time he's eight, his ears are no longer working. At the age of sixteen, Ben makes the decision to bring over villain kids from the Isle of the Lost in order to start a re-integration process that will start to heal things between the Isle and Auradon. They don't know he can't hear them yet, but they seem to like him and he likes them. Things are great. Until they're not. -In which the VK's learn sign language to talk to Ben.

After a huge fight breaks out between Evie and her sisters the other four Lola, April, Ava, and Tessa all find themselves back in Evie and Mal's past where they get to see what life was like for them before they joined the picture. While still trying to figure out how to get home to their present time.
