Enjolras loved his country more than anything. Or so he thought, until his feelings for a particular member of the Amis began to surface. He could not help but love him until the very end. This is my theory about Enjoltaire and yes, it does follow canon, so be prepared for feels.

Grantaire just wanted to read, nothing more. But then a man with blonde hair started talking to him and before he could tell what was happening, Grantaire had fallen for this man and was not prepared to let him walk away.

After the barricade falls, Éponine manages to survive, however she is under the impression that Marius loves her. Enjolras also survives but is severely injured and must recover. However he is a wanted man, charged with treason with a huge ransom on his head. Somehow their new discoveries bring them together. Their story is one of love and loss but most importantly a story of fighting for survival and each other.

Grantaire loves Enjolras. He knows Enjolras would never look at him twice. But is he right? Or will he start to notice slight changes about Enjolras behavior towards him?

story: modern AU where les amis are a debate team in their college. when the friends are sitting in café musain one night, Enjolras promises Grantaire he will drink this time. this leads up to very funny (and some cute/fluffy) incidents. disclaimer: i don't own any of the characters in this story
