Nathan Jordison, 18, has just graduated high school. He managed to find an apartment in Des Moines, Iowa (that's not too far from his parent's house) that he can rent for only $100 a month. Which of course is a pretty good deal, but, the catch is that the neighborhood the apartment is located in, is known for violence, importing drugs, gangs, rape and even murder. One night, Nathan goes to a shop around the corner from his house just to pick up milk and never returns.
