She'd die for love. He didn't believe in love. *** From reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, to watching 10 Things I Hate About You, to listening to You are in Love by Taylor Swift, Emily Kingsley's life is a sum of moments she has spent after romance. Watching, reading, listening or daydreaming, romance has never failed to comfort this high school junior of 17 years of age. She has her own issues: self-sabotage, lack of focus in studying, randomly popping up acne and not loving the way she looked. But she could forget all that as long as she is reading about two people falling in love and finding their happily ever after. Emily wants a romance for herself too, and she knows just the person for it. Landon McArther, a senior in her school. According to Emily, Landon is handsome, sophisticated, well-spoken and unlike any of the immature boys of her class who didn't get her at all. Landon was everything Emily has always dreamed about and moreover he appreciates her for the person she is. But there's just a teeny-tiny problem. Landon McArther has a girlfriend. While that wasn't in Emily's bingo card, she hopes, prays, and longs for the day Landon will be single (because he is Emily's soulmate, and he has to be) and awaits her chance for romance. At the same time, her seatmate in chemistry, the rumored delinquent, grumpy asshole Nathan Callahan, makes fun of her romantic dreams. Can Emily ever find true love? Completed. A fun romcom that will make you scream and squeal and blush! Pia (Poppy) Sullivan doesn't believe in love. She never has. Growing up in a family where her father and mother hate each other and where her younger brother gets used by his girlfriends (without his knowledge), Poppy has learned not to trust anyone. Letting anyone in means letting your guard down and exposing yourself to getting hurt. It's jumping into a void and hoping there's a net at the bottom to save you. Chase Edwards is seventeen and brilliant. Coming from the poorer side of town, his intelligence lands him in the best school- a school whose prestige means that even rich kids struggle to get in. Rumours spread like wildfire around the school about his illegal actions and he is alienated from his peers at school. Girls want to be with him for the thrills and guys want to be him. But Chase keeps his head down and no rumours are ever proven to be more than what they are- rumours. When Poppy and Chase are put together for a class project, Poppy takes no notice of the whispers swirling around them. Gossip doesn't matter; grades do. However, when circumstances push them closer together, Poppy finds herself in a situation she doesn't know how to deal with, so she makes a quick decision. She lets Chase into her life. It's a decision that she will grow to either love or hate. In this game, there isn't another option. *Warning: There are a few 'The Fault In Our Stars' spoilers in here*

I live in a pretty screwed up world. I mean, we all do, but mine's a little more screwed up than your average American city. First off, I have that cliché sort of crush on my best friend. The second part of that cliché is that he's interested in every other girl but me. Second, we have superheroes. A lot of them. Flying everywhere like annoying insects, teleporting like it doesn't scare the crap out of the rest of us, defeating bad guys like they're the new Mr. Incredible. The whole works. The third thing is, I'm one of those superheroes. My name is Kiera Knight, but the rest of the world knows me as Shadow. _________________________ Kiera Knight has been saving Cryptic City from her nemesis, Blaze, for two years now. As soon as she thinks she's got him under control, the wildfire spreads chaos through both of her lives-as Shadow and Kiera. But she soon finds out that masks can't hide every secret, and she might have been helping guard a secret that could put Cryptic City in ruins. "I hate supervillains. But after being a superhero, I think I'd prefer to be a supervillain now." _________________________ (I seriously didn't even think of Keira Knightley when I made up her name. Just thought I'd let you know.)

My name is Tide. I'd love to say hi and all, but if I tell you my location two very bad things could happen. First, someone who isn't really on my list of favorite people might find the information. Then, they would hunt us down and try to use our powers to take over the world and other maniacal things. Yeah, not so fun. However, I'd like it if people knew how things really happened. You may see things on the news, and they may sound bad, but trust me, this is the real story. Because I'm an Elemental. And somebody needs to set the record straight.* [Action #101] [Fantasy #2] :: cover credit goes to the lovely ATXNNA :: *heyo so this book is pretty old, some (a lot of) spelling mistakes, some (a lot of) plot holes, but if you're looking for some fast paced action and some sarcasm and some cliche romance you should honestly just go to the second book but yeah, this has got that, just with, you know, the glaring faults in the story line. Just a warning.
