Now, she worries that she will soon lose her new family: Clone Force 99, aka the Bad Batch. In the midst of a rising Clone Rebellion, Inquisitors hunt Jedi survivors. Rumors swirl of a new Sith Lord quickly rising in power. Clones are being killed off and replaced with new Imperial soldiers. Cara arbeitet mit vollem Herzblut als Sanitäterin auf Kamino und versorgt dort die verletzten Soldaten. Als Echo zum Bad Batch stößt, lernt sie diese kennen und darf ihn bei seiner Rehabilitation helfen und somit Kamino den Rücken kehren. Doch es läuft vieles anders als geplant und Cara muss feststellen, dass die Arbeit in der Galaxie um einiges anspruchsvoller ist als gedacht. Als sich die Galaxie auch noch wandelt und das Imperium an die Macht kommt, verändert sich in ihrem Leben alles. Ihre Tage als Sanitäterin auf festem Grund sind gezählt.

Die Republik ist untergegangen, an deren Platz rückt nun das Imperium. Raven muss als Soldatin eines Sonder -Einsatzkommandos Geld für ihre verarmte Familie verdienen. Sie möchte Frieden für die ganze Galaxie, denn das ist es, was die Leute verdient haben. Ihr neuer Commander hat es ihr sichtlich angetan, auch wenn sie weiß, dass ihre Gefühle Fehl am Platz zu sein scheinen.
