The world has a funny way of putting two people together. Well, it's even stranger when everyone is born with different hints to finding their soulmate and staying with them. John has a very difficult time finding his soulmate, as he wasn't given much of anything to help in his later, trying times looking for who he was meant for. However, the boy had a pretty good idea as to what he was meant for. John played the clarinet. He often played by himself, different tunes and learned new songs on his own time. This was why John's music teacher took the initiative to sign John up as a possible clarinet player for the Central London jazz band for a concert. Sherlock, however, doesn't really seem to mind that he's markless. That was, until he met John. First, it was in a music store, finding an instrument to keep him out of trouble. Then, at John's school, where Sherlock had enrolled into the regional jazz band. Sherlock was, at first, unbeknownst to John's musical skill until he was watching the young man play with some of the greatest in the Central London jazz band. Sherlock had to know more about John. The setting takes place when John is 13 and Sherlock is technically 12, but they grow up apart and reunite when they're 16 and 15 respectively.

Four days before Christmas the Starkid gang volunteer there time to clean out the theaters prop and costume room. But when a big storm hits and knocks out all the power the gang gets locked in. Truths come out and tensions rise while the storm blows on. How will there horrid weekend end, and will they be able to make it home for Christmas? Read to find out. All based off of the mentions of "An Imperial Affliction" in "The Fault in Our Stars". This is MY personal interpretation of John Green's description of "An Imperial Affliction". Hopefully my work is as good as read as his, and it's worry if Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters's approval:)

I decided to write "An Imperial Affliction" from the incredible novel/movie "The Fault In Our Stars." I wanted to read Hazel's favorite book so badly, but unfortunately, An Imperial Affliction does not exist. So, I figured it would be nice to write the book myself. All of the writing in this story will be my own and this is how imagine this brilliant story to be, so I am sorry if my interpretation is different from your won. Credit to John Green wrote who the novel, "The Fault In Our Stars." Also, I am not trying to steal his original ideas and I am striving to make this story part of my own. Side note: I will be updating this quite often, only because I want to make sure that this will turn out to become an excellent piece of work - for me at least. In addition, please forgive me if I am not adding new chapters as much. Sadly, my real life cancer friends are not doing so grand at the moment, however I appreciate that you are all okay with this, (then again, I have never gotten much feedback on this story).
