Bullet For My Valentine.. I saw them for the first time nine years ago. I was almost 21.. It was my first time visiting a massive metal festival and even though the weather was shitty as f*ck, some gigs got even more memorable. As soon as the other band I stood front row at ended, I ran like hell fire to the main stage where I was about to see them live after years of waiting! I nearly missed their opening song if I hadn't ran as fast as I could. Front row was impossible as they were one of the main acts and the crowd was massive. But I found a spot where I could see them clearly and much closer than I thought! But I wasn't aware that I had ended up in an area where the biggest mosh pit would take place.. Just two song in and I got pushed, hit and bumped into like crazy.. My hat even got hit off my head and got trampled.. I tried and tried to find a safe spot but it was no use.. I was unable to enjoy the band I loved most.. Only twenty minutes into a set of roughly eighty minutes, I walked out. I could feel the bruises develop and I was devastated. I even cried a little. I truly felt heart broken like I should have skipped those other bands just for them.. I was also still in college at the time and finances were not on my side for many years. I even somehow forgot about them for a little while, untill last year. My little brother invited me to visit either one of two festivals by the beginning of this summer.
