With Uther dead and Arthur as the King of Camelot, he finds himself under more stress and pressure than he was before. Eager to please his people, Arthur begins to dedicate every breath to helping Camelot thrive after his father's death, and he vows to find this sorcerer that is responsible for Uther's death. However, with all of his time dedicated to helping Camelot, he has very little time for his friends like Merlin. And when Merlin becomes a growing concern to the king, he has to figure out where Merlin's place in his heart is. Is he a friend or much, much more?

When Merlin disappears for over two weeks, Arthur returns to the woods in search of him along with Leon, Elyan and Percival. Gwaine tagged along. As usual, the knights get into trouble, three strange bandits kidnap them while they sleep and an unexpected hero comes to their rescue.
