Y/N was getting sick of the South Pole. Her cocky twin brother Sokka, her insufferable little sister Katara, the endless snow, ice, water, and chores. Yes, she loved the place, and her family, but ever since father left she had basically been looking after the whole village. Wake up, train with siblings, go fishing, cook, and go to bed. Every. Single. Day. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Disclaimers! None of the art is mine unless said otherwise. I do not own Avatar the Last Airbender or it's characters. Why is this labeled as mature? Some gruesome descriptions, and dark themes. All possibly triggering pieces have warnings to notify the readers beforehand.

"At TAP I was the one the RDA looked to. Harding knew I wouldn't be a good ambassador, I was just too violent, but I was a suitable weapon. A good shot, a sounding board for RDA cruelty. And I suppose that now I feel that the only thing that can permanently bury the last of TAP is my own death. Because I'd do it, I'd die if it meant safety for the rest of the clans." ❀❀❀❀ Zeyk'oa was an infant when the RDA invaded the Sarentu Moot and slaughtered her clan. Having been groomed as a child into becoming the RDA's next weapon, Zeyk'oa's eventual freedom into Pandora is a massive step forward for her. Though she still struggles with the deaths of Awë, her closest childhood friend, and her older sister Aha'ri, Zeyk'oa uses the things she learned at TAP to fight against the Sky People. So'lek came from the Trr'ong People. But when they answered the call of Toruk Makto, the Sky People left nearly nothing untouched. Reeling from the rage and grief, the young hunter sets out on his own. Eventually, he comes into contact with the Resistance and after much convincing, he agrees to join them. Fifteen years of peace. Fifteen years that shattered the moment Eywa's scream echoed throughout Pandora as the Sky People returned. So'lek returns to the Resistance after his time away to join Dr. Alma Cortez in investigating a signal at an old RDA facility. Zeyk'oa, awake after fifteen years of dreamless sleep, must find a way to become Sarentu again with nothing but the ashes of her people. So'lek, living in a constant state of rage and hatred, must learn that life has more to offer than pain. But as tensions rise and new enemies circle them like vultures, will their songs survive or will they be nothing more than broken songcords?

Kì'lana believed she was amongst the last of her clan. With a mark on her face, damning her to remember what she was supposed to be "grateful" to have survived. She kept it carefully covered with paint, ensuring no one she came across would know. There would be too many questions, too many words of sorrow. Too much guilt on her shoulders. But she had only been a child. Who could be grateful to survive something they didn't know was happening? And who could go months without realising that the dreamwalker they worked with...was the one partly responsible for so much loss in her heart? And why did it take the patience of a Trr'ong warrior to make her feel seen again? ~ so'lek x fem!Oc (might change the description later, not sure if i like it yet) all images are from pinterest x

For a long moment, he didn't respond. The glow of the valley reflected in his eyes, giving them a molten intensity I couldn't read. Then he leaned slightly closer, just enough that his breath brushed my cheek. "You... are testing me," he said, voice low, a growl threading his words. "And I... I cannot let you go. Not now." The words, the proximity, the weight of him against the glow of the valley... it made my heart hammer and my chest ache all at once. I could feel the restraint still there, barely holding back, but the tension was palpable. "Good," I whispered, voice husky, trying to keep my own control. "Because I'm not going to make it easy for you either."

The time of war had ended. Peace flourished as the remnants of the RDA fled the Western Frontier, only leaving behind scraps of metal as proof they'd ever been there. For a time, Pandora began to heal. She reclaimed what the sky-people had ruined, stitching the wounds of time closed with root and vine. Life moved forward. The Resistance turned its focus to the living world Ewya breathed. Alma settled into her human body again. Ri'nela learned what it meant to carry the weight of a tsahìk's voice. Teylan shaped metal and wires into something meant to protect, rather than destroy. Yet, Tamtey did not find peace. Sleep brought the memories of TAP that haunted her, driving her from her bed night after night. Only the soft wind beneath unfamiliar stars offered any peace. She was rarely alone for long. So'lek always found her there, sharing quiet hours until the dawn chased away the dark, trading dreams and the horrors that kept them awake. Still, the forest shook with unease. Ewya's song wavered, strained by something distant -- quickly approaching. Smoke stained the horizon. Thin and gray, whispering against the clouds. A single flake of ash drifted down, landing on top of Tamtey's bouncing knee. So'lek reached out and swiped it away, pinching it until it vanished. "Ash..." he murmured, gaze fixed on the rising plumes beyond the trees. "And fire," Tamtey replied, her voice unwavering. The forest fell silent around them. Even the animals did not cry out. A new enemy was coming.
