Scarlet McKinnon has never been one to get into trouble. She's nice to everyone, has a picture-perfect family, and only one potential enemy. So, when said enemy finds her beaten up on the side of the school building in the middle of Winter, Hayden Mathews is pretty damn surprised. When the worst liar in history refuses to tell Hayden who did this to her, he makes it his mission to find out what's happening and put a stop to it - whether Scarlet agrees or not. With Scarlet hiding a secret Hayden's determined to uncover, it gets pretty difficult for the two enemies to avoid each other. Especially when they have a childhood history that may end up more than just history. • Highest ranking tag #1 in couples Highest ranking tag #2 in arguments Highest ranking tag #5 in snow Highest ranking tag #1 in Hayden *trigger warning for violence and language*

The broken can never be healed. The same weak cracks will always be there no matter how hard you wish for them to fade. I am facing more grief than I can handle at the moment. Then add on my new professional hockey career and the fact that my biggest nightmare might walk free in a few months, and you get a piece of glass about to shatter into a million unsalvageable pieces. "You have yourself convinced you don't want me, but that changes as soon as my head's between your legs." "Not everything is about sex, no matter how much I like you between my legs." "Says the girl who sleeps in my arms every night to feel safe." *** Danielle Riley has big shoes to fill. Between the expectations imposed by the people in the men's professional hockey world and the unintentional pressures set by her sister in-law, Danny has one goal: become the first woman in the NHL. For that to happen, everything has to go perfectly but Danny's life is far from perfect. A haunted past and estranged family makes her life hard long before Beckett Sampson comes into play. With a new captain from a rival college, whom Danny has already crossed one too many lines with, senior year of college just got a lot harder. One more year until the draft. One more year until everything comes together or shatters into a million shards of ice. ***Spin off of the Contronym series. Can be read as a stand alone, but has Contronym and Synonym spoilers.***

"I'd much rather have my head between her legs than yours." *** SEQUEL TO CONTRONYM Life is never kind to the broken. Then again, aren't we all broken? I've faced the sexists, the egotistics, the rapists, the catalysts; everyone is an asshole in their own right. Sadly, I'm maxing out on how much more hardship I can take. Griffin Riley used to be my enemy and the cause of my many headaches but now he seems to be my pain medication that takes the aches away. But nothing good can last forever. Maybe we'll be the exception. A girl can hope. But between the stress, high stakes, jealousy, fights, trials, the media, school, life changing scares, and most importantly; Lacrosse, our relationship will be put through the ringer. I just hope we aren't smushed to death.

"I know I'm hot, but keep your legs closed, Mason." *** "Fuck you." I panted out at him. His mouth moved to my ear, sending a chill down my spine as he whispered. "I think the correct phrase is 'fuck me'." **** Contronym: Opposites in the same mold That's what Sylvia Mason and Finn Riley are. After moving to the highschool lacrosse capital of Connecticut to play men's lacrosse, Sylvia is faced with the pain in the ass Captain, Finn Riley. They both hate the very idea of the each other and can't even hold eye contact without making snide remarks. They both want the other gone no matter what but they also have undeniable similarities in their mannerisms. They are sheer opposites but they are also identical. He was her darkness but also her light.
