However a villain named Salem desires Ruby as her ally by removing his memories and letting him unleash his darkest power. Unexpectedly, vampires exists and attempted to turn ruby and yang to their own kind but ended up being a hybrid hence still needing blood to live, taking blood from their friends.

Weiss and Ruby struggle to come to terms with the growing feelings they have with one another, whilst trying to hide them from each other.
