Com toda sinceridade, Argentina não sabia porque ele tinha aceitado, mas ali estava ele, no país do futebol, sentindo a areia da praia no pé, encarando sedento um quiosque de água de coco, e, por estar distraído (ou sofrendo de insolação, de acordo com ele), levando uma cortada na cara. Era oficial, ele não sabia jogar vôlei, e menos ainda no calor infernal do Brasil, ainda assim, por algum motivo, vendo seu arqui-inimigo rir tanto que os joelhos cederam e ele caiu no chão, ele pensou que tudo aquilo estava sendo estranhamente divertido.
