Buku adalah jendela dunia, banyak hal yang bisa didapatkan dari rutintas membaca. Entah itu milik sendiri, meminjam dari perpustakaan, teman ataukah sanak saudara. Buku adalah mercusuar yang berdiri di tepi samudra waktu yang luas. Tapi buku tak hanya sekedar dibaca, ia harus dirawat layaknya manusia secara tepat dan akurat. Kelalaian akan menyebabkan beberapa dampak fatal, kertas yang menguning, bagian halaman tertentu yang cabik atau hilang, sampul depan yang terkena tumpahan kecap bahkan mungkin saja tulisan di dalam bagian utama buku yang tak lagi terbaca. Dalam keadaan tertentu, akan menimbulkan bau tidak sedap dan kertas buku menjadi rapuh dan kering. Layaknya manusia yang butuh perawatan berkala, maka buku pun seyogyanya memiliki hak yang sama. Berikut adalah 5 tips merawat buku yang baik versi saya, yang dirangkum dari berbagai sumber terpercaya.

Sebuah rangkaian aksara ditulis ketika kopi dalam cangkir mulai surut dan lalat-lalat berterbangan dengan bebas berusaha hinggap di atas borok kaki yang mulai bernanah.
